Bring & Brag August 2023 Entries and Winners

The Bring’n’Brag category for August was “Passenger Cars.” There were three entries submitted for voting.

1st Place went to Bill DeFoe, who entered a private car from his own railroad that he kitbashed. He described his efforts as follows: The car started as a simple heavyweight observation car; the unit has working marker lights made from the smallest LED lights he could find; the battery power is mounted inside the roof, and it uses a micro-switch mounted in the clerestory roof; Dennis Vaccaro provided a collection of caboose interior parts modified to fit; the interior carpeting is felt; and he finished the model with various acrylic paints.
