Bring & Brag January 2023 Entries and Winners
The Bring and Brag Category for January was Anything Goes. We had 4 submissions for judging and 1 for display only.
1st place went to Joel Everly for his HO scale Jack’s Place Structure, a Bar Mills Kit.

2nd place went to Susan Werner for her HO scale, scratch-built, box car #3548. Sue Werner’s entirely scratch-built wooden box car placed 2nd in this contest but is the feather in her cap toward achieving the MMR. Congratulations!

3rd place went to Rick Bennett for his HO scale train station. Rick Bennett’s scratch-built passenger station may have placed 3rd, but he used a wide variety of leftover parts (including Tichy windows & doors, Monster Modelworks brick, Hydrocal, clapboard, etc.) to create this diorama.

3D-printed HO scale figures
The 4th entry was an assortment of 3D-printed HO scale figures, created using the “make people” command, then hand-painted.
For display only, someone shared an edition of the “Timber Transfer” with an article about restoration progress being made at the East Broad Top Railroad.
